The day after buying her the troubles started. My little bitch decided to shred her alternator belt on the way to town. Having no tools with me I had to borrow everything I needed to fix her on a rainy day using a shotty crank operated bottle jack. Fun fun.

On the 4th day of owning her. Feb. 26, 2018. Here is the first engine bay pic. Everything is just as it was when I bought her except it has a new alternator belt and the a/c belt has been removed.

Deleted the heatshield from the exhaust manifold due to plans to get headers and also I wanted to check for an exhaust leak.

Well driving in the rain the spare tire well quickly fills with water. So some inspecting finds I have a shit load of welding work ahead of me.

March 27, 2018. A couple weeks ago on my way home I hit an opossum shock bounced me pretty hard and somehow I managed to shear off 3 wheel studs from the right front. Got to love the luck. Weather has been bad so I am finally gettiby around to fixing it. I replaced all 4 studs just to be safe. Was going to do the front brakes but the brakes I had ordered would not fit. Go figure.

March 28, 2018. The day after I get her back on the road I was on my way home.. (sound familiar?) And while cruising at 55 the car had a little bump. I pulled over and the car died instantly. She did restart but she was no longer a smooth running engine. Only 2 miles from home I figured I could make it but I was wrong. I doubt she made it 10 feet before she let go. From what I can see I believe it was due to a rod bolt failure. I will find out more when I pull the motor apart.

April 12, 2018. Sitting parked and not driving the trunk is still getting a little water in it. After Inspecting I discover the spoiler is leaking and has for a very long time. And I discovered the car is truly mine when I found someone at some point before I owned it attempted to fix the leak with clear bathroom silicone. Smh.

April 21, 2018. Got the front body panels lined up a little closer here they need to be. It's not perfect but if I wanted perfect I would not be working on this car.

That special feeling after you realize your trunk still leaks after you found leaks and fixed them.
