Original thread found here - https://forums.probetalk.com/showthread.php?t=1701252234&highlight=how+to+tensi oner

    Legend:
    • TB = Timing Belt
    • TBT = Timing Belt Tensioner
    • TDC = Top Dead Center
    • M-TBT = Manual/Modified Timing Belt Tensioner

    For Robert, in a Pinch:

Start with faulty TBT & drill a hole in the base to accommodate 3/8 16 tap:
***NOTE*** Make sure you drill straight and into the center. Any deflection here will be exacerbated exponentially in the end product.
